Hi,

I am still thinking about what specific genre I`d like to play on my violin..and I would like to know what genre each and all of you are interested in..and why. I think it would be interesting to know all the background before I go ahead and stick to one. For example, classic, jazz, etc. I`d like to know that`s all. Please if you are reading this..reply to me. I love you all!! thanks! =)

I love all types of music and look forward to playing a wide variety once I get past the "Mary Had A Little Lamb" stage! I run a pirate reenactor`s guild and so I`m looking forward to learning some of the old seafaring tunes n` drinking songs and ballads, in addition to pop and classical music.

I want to play some Mozart concertos. It seems that everyone has played at least once except me.

I really like classical, actually. In school orchestra, we`re playing a song from Pirates of the Caribbean and we also played Take Five, but I played the piano with the orchestra for that part. We play a large variety in orchestra, but I really like classical.

I still think that classical is the best after all these time. But, I quite like bluegrass also. Very cool and fun to play.

Well, i would choose classical. After all, classical music is the highest form of music. I love Beethoven`s, paganini and Tchaikovsky`s violin concerti. They are some of the best music ever written, but of course, they are some of the most difficult music to play too. I wonder when would i have the ability to play such "high ended" music.
