I haven`t played the violin for years, but was really hardcore back in high school. Recently I started playing again and realized that you never really forget how to play.

Anyways, I was wondering if there are any really cool pieces people would recommend playing. I`ve been playing the "concerto for two violins" to death. What`s a similar difficult level piece should I try?

i reckon you should crack at the vivaldi`s concertos.
Perhaps the four seasons, that`ll get you going...

if you`re really feeling hardcore, pick up a copy of Paganini`s "24 Caprices."

any concerto will do, just see if you have any old recordings of pieces you like, and if you still like them go out and buy the music to see if you can play them.

So, your on the fifth or fourth book of Suzuki I reckon. Well, what i do is listen to some music channels and when i hear a good piece, I just wait for it to end and then write it down. Of course, it`s pretty hard to do that while driving so good luck.
