I am doing a survey to satisfy my own curiosity.
What is your favourite piece of music
1. To play
2. To listen to?
Why?

hey bekah, allegro by whom?
I once played the one by vivaldi and we had a 3-part "birdie solo (it sounded like birds)" it a so cool. I loved listening to it.
I also like one of sibelius` symphonies finales. we played it for all conference honors orch! omg it was awesome
! I can`t remember which symphony, but I still have the music.

Is the Vivaldi piece with the birds the Spring Symphony?

As for classical music, my favorite piece to listen to would probably be Beethoven`s Moonlight Sonata (the first movement mainly). As for playing, probably Rameau`s Rondo (it`s for piano since I can`t play anything for violin - I`m working on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Not that I can play much on piano either).

Sorry, I meant Rameau`s Rondino, not Rondo

i absolutely love Pachebel`s Canon in D played on violins.

I`m hoping to be able to play it myself in a year or two`s time.
