Hi all,
I am trying to find the music score for the ....Boccherini La Musica Notturna Delle Strade Di Madrid No. 6, Op. 30 from the sound track of Master and Commander, it was rearranged by Richard Tognetti.
Has anybody come across this piece of music for the Violin?
It is beyond my capabilities for LONG LONG while but I would like to acquire it for the future (I like to keep my goals in sight!)
If anybody has the double CD version of M and Commander then you will be able to listen and watch Richard at work. Superb piece of Violin playing IMHO.
Hope somebody knows the piece I am referring to and can help
Pitt

Quite of bit of sheet music can be found at Shar Music`s online store (sharmusic.com). While the name of the piece on the soundtrack is listed as La Musica Notturna Delle Strade Di Madrid, I believe it is also known as the String Quintet in C Major, G. 349 (orchestrated with two violins, viola, two cellos).
Oddly enough, the piece was commissioned by Napoleon`s brother, the imperial ambassador to Spain.
