Any of you guys used Thomastik Vision strings? Ive been playing on their Dominants for a while, and just got a pack of their new Vision line with the Silver/Synthetic strings and Titanium E. Anyone else tried these?

By the way... Both Shar music and southwest strings have an offer to get a free titanium E and some other E free with the new vision set... its great.

I know visions are the newest from Dominant.
Thomastik is the old one.
Let me know how the visions go...I`ve been wondering about them also. Thanks.

They`re on my new violin! I don`t have that much to compare to...but I have no complaints...very crisp and clear.

Er, unless I`m wrong...the company is Thomastik-Infeld. Dominants are one type...pretty much the industry standard that all strings get compared to. The Visions are the relatively new product.

Nox got it. Thomastik-Infeld is the brand, Dominant or Vision or Red or Blue are the string names.

It has oxidised. And I bet it sounds weird too right? Your string has gone dead if that`s the case. Change it.
