I need to do a basic audition in order to take violin lessons at my school. The requirement is to play a movement of a sonata or concerto, or piece of the difficulty of the Handel Sonatas. I`m not very good, so can anyone suggest pieces to use?
Thank you

I`m not sure how good you are but some of the easier concertos are by Vivaldi, you can look into those. If you are more advanced try the Bruch Concerto or maybe the Mendlessohn. For the sonata movement try something by Handel or Haydn.

I can only wish Andrea. People say I have the potential to become a virtuoso, but sadly I have way too many interests and hopes to dedicate myself solely to the violin. But there is only one Vengerov and nobody can be him.
P.S. RussianMaster is just supposed to make me seem smart and knowledgeable about violin as opposed to a true master. . I am Russian though so that part is true.

Handel should be manageable.
Why don`t u try the one in G minor and F major?
