Hi!
My name is Becca and I live in central western Florida. I am available to teach anyone to play the violin. I take small children as well as teens and adults. Lessons are completely free because I just love playing the violin and teaching and I feel that anyone should be able to learn the violin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
thanks
Becca

get a chromatic tuner. it will help with intonation in the future. korg makes an inexpensive one.

Hello Becca!
I am trying to help my daughter who just started to play violin and I would like to know how to be able to read a music sheet for violin. I am not a expert but I can read music sheet CDEFGAB and be able to play it in the organ. The violin only have 4 string
E A D G and I would like to match the same music note to the violin. For example if the music sheet show C what string do we use E A D or G? How about if the music sheet show D? E? F? G? A? B?

HI Liz:

You are so nice that you offer the lesson for free. I really wish I were in your area.

When I was young, my family was not financially rich. I love music. WHen I went to college, I started the violin lessons quite late. I kept it up for one year. My father left and left the family in financial crisis again. I quit violin.

Now I really want to pick it up again.

Do you think I might be too old to start again? I am over 25.

Li

Hello Li!

<<Do you think I might be too old to start again? I am over 25.>>

You`re never too old to start over. You love playing the violin and you have the experience before so it will be easier for you just keep it up and enjoy!

I was 33 when I learned how to play an organ and keyboard meant for our children and I love to play as long that I used an EZ play music sheet. Just recently (two week ago), I learned to play a guitar, our children taught me how to play and read the music note. Now, I`m trying to learn how to play a violin to help my daughter.

Thanx, Freda!

I am lerning the musical theory now. I forgot most of what I learned in the past.

I feel that life is more meaningful with music.

I`d love to be able to take your lessons, but I`m afraid I live a LONG way away from you! I live in England!

But I`m gonna need a good, private teacher. I don`t much fancy taking a lesson every week at school.

And just for reference for the others, have you htaken and passed all your 8 grades yet?
