Hi Marisa,

You probably could re-string it with no problem if you reverse the bridge and you already have 4 fine tuners. But if you plan to hold it in your left hand to play, you`ll find playing it very awkward - the majority of violin music will be played on the higher strings (E and A), and in high positions on those strings in many cases. It will be harder to make a good sound on the E string if it`s closer to you. In short, I wouldn`t recommend it.

Hi
i have played the violin for about 3 years now but i would still like to get a private teacher to help me along. i started to learn in the 7th grade but i didnt have a very good teacher and all he did was pretty much tell me how to read music. i taught myself to verbrato and shift which im still not very good at. but i live in cincinnati, ohio and im on a tight budget so cheap lessons would be fantastic. thanks

Hi Becca. I live in Clermont, Winter Garden area. Is that close to you? I just started playing about a year ago, I`ve been teaching myself and could really use some lessons.

Hey Becca you still around? Your original post is from quite a bit ago, but I thought I would see. I live in the Brooksville, FL area and have been wanting very much to learn the violin. If your still here give me a sign
