well recently, i`ve been recording my violin playing using finale accompaniment. well, i find the microphone i have which is for speech murders the sounds of my violin. one friend testifies "it sounds like dropping buckets and a feline`s painful demise" well, i went over his house and played for him and he said it sounds so much better live. so i guess i`m goign to need an instrument microphone that is economically priced and i can place on my desk so it can record both finale accompaniment and me. anyone care to point me to the right direction?
