My all time favorite violin concerti are Beethoven`s in D major, Tchaikovsky in D major and Mendelsonn`s in E minor. I`ve the following recordings by the following soloist:
Beethoven violin concerto: Yehudi Menhuin
Tchaikovsky violin concerto: David Oistrakh, Sarah Chang
Mendelsonn violin concerto in Em: Frank Peter Zimmerman

I`m a bit tired of listening to the same soloist, as i need a fresh perspective of these concerti, though i`m very satisfied with Yehudi`s and Oistrakh`s interpretation of the Beethoven and Tchaikovsky concerti respectively.

Could all of you suggest in your own opinion, which is the best soloist for each of these concerti?

Hmm, I don`t know about those particular concertoes, but I know that Perelman and Heifitz (sp?) are very good. Then again, they are very well known and you`ve probably heard them already. =)
