i do have a teacher, actually I have two or three i could ask, but i`m not going to be seeing them for a few weeks. but thanks anyway.

u can buy books with them in from music shops.i dunno what country ur in so it might be different but the 3 octave scales are in the scale book grades 6-8 in the associated board of the royal schools of music.
