Hello guys,
im 18 yrs old and i`ve been playing to the violin for 11 yrs. I`ve had some serious problems with "balzato" lately and i was wondering if someone could give me hints and tips on how to learn it. I really need to overcome this problem, because i dont feel comfortable when i see that all my mates in the orchestra can do it while im stuck with "staccato" or "detached".

Thanks heaps

I`m not familiar with that term. Maybe it`s something you only use in Australia? If you can figure out what it might be called in America, I`d be happy to help you with it.

Hello there, the term should be "hopping" or "sautillè" in French. I hope that helps. Hope to hear from you soon, thanks heaps.
