I`m just wondering what violin company/maker you are using. I am asking this question because I am currently using a borrowed violin from school. Well, I was going to buy a Gliga violin, but I not that trusting on ordering from the internet since the other time i did, the paint job was sooo bad. Also the store is pretty far(hour long). Any comments or suggestions?

Suggestions? Yes. get a Gliga.
We import Glgias, about twelve a month on average, and I have never, not in over two years, found one with varnishing problems.
I play Gligas too, a Gama viola and a Gems 1 violin.

Yes, I`m sure we`d all love to get our hands on a "stratavourios", it`s Stradivarius you ass.
Like one could merely go into one`s local Lutherie to get one of those! (I wish)
As for what I play, a Chinese (or Korean)box that happens to have strings attached.

the chinese are actually making really amazing violins. and don`t even mention a strad. no one can afford to get those. well...not here at least... i know a girl who has a violin on loan to her from the Strad society (though not a strad...but still millions). i was thinking that John Montgomery makes good violins (sp on his name) i know the guy and he`s a pompous asss but...oh well.
