I just bought a new viola. I`ve been using a fourteen inch. I now have a fifteen inch. It`s far to big. My finger tips can just barely wrap around my scroll. What can I do about shifting? I can play up too third position, but past that I can`t shift up to just because of the size. I`m very petite, so is there anything I can do? Or am I screwed? I will grow (hopefully) But I don`t know how I can play up to any other position! I have a number of pieces and scales that go up into I think sixth position. So, like I said, is there anything I can do?

Sounds like you moved up a size before you were ready to. If you still have your 14 inch I should just go back to that.
