I`ve been wanting an electric Viola for some time now. Anybody have any suggestions as to a higher end model?

Hey,
whats the difference b/w a regular viola and electric..isnt that kind of cheating..u no to get an electric? IDK. lol * there are some good websites bout gettin them
tho, i know there r. But to tell ya the truth, there are more electic violins than any other stringed instrument..violas are hard to find in stores, u have to preorder them!!!!

Does ne one know wher to find an electric viola for less than a thousand dollars? my best friend wants one so badly and they are really tight on money. i`ve been looking for her and havent had ne luck. she really likes the silents. I really wish i could find one for her, her mom has agreed for one for her birthday if its low enogh in price. that would make her so happy. please some one help!
