it`s really fun to play with others. when we`re rehearsing with our quartet it`s always fun. and the viola has good parts in that kind of music

well i dont play in an ensemble. i dont know NE1 who wants to be in one. ive been playing for going on four years. no one who started that late wants to be serious about there instrument. how long have yall been playing.Ash? Phung? Dave? Lindsey?

I`ve been playing the viola for 9 years. But the first 2 years I played the violin but everytime I played I got a headache

But I`m now absolutely in love with the viola.

ive been playing for 7 years now.

ive been only playing for 3 years and im 1st chair

i think full orchastra pieces are the best

During my high school career, I played in quartets, trios, and medium ensembles--along with our high school orchestra. It was a blast. When I went to college--WTAMU--the strings faculty, the Harrington String Quartet, created scholarships for a student string quartet, the West Texas String Quartet. I got the viola position. It was my first year with rigorous ensemble training. It was a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone who`s willing to listen. Fortunately, I was approved for the scholarship next year as well. I`m really excited.
