I have been playing the viola for almost a year and one thing that i have noticed is that almost every book of music that i have got has had the names of the notes written in. So it has been hard for me to read music. Now i am in this new orchestra and i am a freshman. I can play very well but i just cannot read music!!!!!! Can someone help me to read the music or give me a website that i can go to for help?

How did you get into the orchestra if you can`t read music?
Learning to read music is just a matter of memorising the notes and symbols. It`s as simple as that. It takes a while ( it took me a year ), but once you get it, you never forget.
