I feel so stupid, actually. I have been playing for 5 years, but i never actually learned the scales and octaves until last year. i think i got what i`m supposed to do, but I need assurance. can anyone help me?

its where you start with your first finger where your 3rd finger should be on the c string, then you go to the 2nd finger a space away, then 3rd a space away, then 4th close, i think, yea.. then its the same on the g string, then on the d and a string, its first, then second a space away, then third close, then 4th a space away

I think that is it, but i`m not sure?

first, you need another octave.
second, theres really no sense in playing third position on the C string, but it doesnt matter.
but the gaps u listied are correct

yes you are right. Just listen and see if its right. Might want to buy a scale book.
