1. Does praying directly to GOD do anything?
No, because everyone has to pray to Jesus Christ to get to God, if you dont pray to Jesus then then Jesus doesn`t hear you, so God doesnt either. Have happy New Year. :-)

hiya, ive just read all the messages, the one about the jokes bout violas kind of got me thinking,
the only reasons people make fun and tell jokes about violists and take ther "mick"is because their jealouse that we can play such a wonderful and sweet sounding instroment, they are shallow minded and pathetic little idiots!!!
im blonde bleu eyed and a viola player, so when at orchestra i get the blonde jopkes and viola jokes!!!
i play the used to play the violin and cello, but quit when i heard about the viola, frankly i think it was the best decision i ever made, the viola is a wonderfull instorment and is well worth learning.
if you are thinking of taking it up, then you should, lets mark a place for the viola`s and start sticking up for ourselfs,
sorry if there are spelling mistakes, im only little!!!

I just figured that how are you suppose to read notes correct when you cant spell correct because it`s basically the same principal.

oh well, its got to be done, im in year 10 at school and i took Geography as a GCSE subject, i wish i hadn`t, the homework it horrid!!!but it does meen that ive got an excuse for turning up to my viola lesson, having not practised!!!

hi guys! This is my first time on the forum although I check out the site a lot, but I`m on study leave and have finished my exams and so was a bit bored. I`ve just read all the messages here about the jokes and stuff- I`ve heard them all. But if you look closely on joke sites, you`ll find most of them are for each instrument, just with the different instrument name inserted! Sorry if someone`s already made that point! But yeah, I`ve been playing the viola since I was 9 and am now 17, and I think it`s the most beautiful instrument. I`ve played violin a couple of times as a stand in but I just hate it, the E string is so horrible! I think the viola is so much nicer, and am currently writing a viola concerto for string orchestra, so who knows, maybe in the future the viola will have a chance at being a solo instrument! x
