Hi, I am trying to sell my viola (I bought a new one earlier this year which is smaller because I have tiny hands). It is a really wonderful instrument, but it is too big for me. It was made at the Schuback violin shop in Portland, OR by Janet Starck in 1982. It has been in my family for 24 years, my aunt was a professional violist and she played it in several different orchestras (she was first chair). I am a college music major and I am very sad to give up this viola, it has been my baby for 8 years now. But it is just not practical for me to hold onto it, and sadly I need the money to pay for this new one. I will gladly send pictures through email. It has an antique look with honey brown colored varnish, and all ebony fittings. It comes with a black Bam case I bought 2 years ago, which is still in great shape. I have the appraisal which states its history and value, and will email that too. LorrainePerrin@gmail.com
