I won a solo competition here and town and now i get to perform a complete work on stage and i am the guest soloist


Do any of you have advice to get ready for a big concert?



and im looking for a song

the concert is not till March =))

but i really want to be prepared

Sam, whatever you're going to play, I think with the viola one of the most important things when playing with full orchestra, is to simply play as loud as possible (without sounding forced of course). That is one of our biggest hurdles I think...

Above all count...

I nearly strangled my conductor when he mentioned a viola joke. Then again a good brass joke clammed him up right away!

I think viola jokes are going down down down. I hope they'll be even out of fashion one day
