Hello to all the lovely viola players!
I played cello as a child into my teenage years. In order to help out the school's string ensemble i have offered to pick up the viola under the careful guidance of the music teacher (violinist). I seem to be coping ok with basic technique and juggling the switch from bass to alto clef.
I would like to get some books to practice with at home - cheerful tunes I will know the rhythm and melody of - to get me back in the swing of things and to cement some of these skills. The problems arise in that the very simple books are a bit too easy given my background and I cannot judge the books by the covers and very brief descriptions shown on the websites
Any suggestions??
