I forgot to write on my other post, that the oil and nitro stuff that I was talking about, probaly has to do with the stain. Has anyone heard of Gliga violas? If I buy a school/begginer viola, and after I learn to play it, would it matter if I played it until I became lets say really good at it and I might not want to switch to a more advanced one. Or do you have to switch to a more advanced one? What is the difference? ASAP
Thanks,
CWV

It really depends. But if you`ve improved that tremendously until yr playing has evolved into a whole total different level, then it sure is time for u to change. I personally will change the instrument when the previous one can no longer support my technic development. And that changing it will definately take u to another higher level still and leave much more room for improvement. It`s really just pretty much like driving. U will wanna switch to an all-round impressive luxury car when u`re financially abled and more skilled. Thank You.
