I am a beginning/intermediate viola player. I have played for a year and a half or so and am the only one in my school orchestra. I am seriously thinking about quitting and focusing on my clarinet. I am desperate for help and anything that remotely helps is great.

First of all, the strings are from highest to lowest, A, D, G, C. To make notes higher, put your fingers on the tapes. The more fingers you put down, the higher the note.
