Does anyone out there know where you can find an online tuner for the viola? or at least a tuner that isn`t supremely expensive? thank you please.

Tuning forks are cheaper. If u get one get a fork that makes the "A" note; it works best. From there, relative tune it. If not, there are some very cheap electronic tuners; I`ve seen some for only $9.95, but be careful, your really better off buying an egregiously expensive tuner and have it work than a cheap piece of crap tuner. bye! Hope this helps!

If you just want one that you can go on your computer and tune from there, go to http://www.artsconservatory.com/PRViola.html and you should get one to tune to. Hope it helps and isn`t to late.

i don`t really remember correctly without the book as to how to do this, but you can tune the viola without any tuner. if you put all four of your fingers on each string it will imitate what the string before it should sound like. when you get the two to sound a like then you have it in tune. hope that helps.
