to play: Shostakovich Symphony No. 5. Insane viola melody in first movement
to listen: Brahms 1, Sibelius 1,2,3,5 Stravinsky Firebird
I know that`s a lot, but Sibelius and Brahms are simply the best composers to grace classical music.

Favorite pieces to listen to: the Allegretto from Beethoven Symphony No. 7, Martinu String Quartet #1, ANYTHING by Brahms!!!

My favortie piece of music for all time is Vocalise (opus 34, No. 14) by Rachmaninoff. It is for Viola and Piano, (i play viola). It is a great slow song where i can really express mysefl in my playing and i feel like i can tell the story the song expresses differently every time. It also sounds incredibly wicked awsome.

I play a VERY large range of instruments (and im only fourteen so im quite proud of my self, i dont care if you think im big headed) but i love to play back in black by ACDC on my Gibson SG because its simple to play and it sounds so good. To listen to however, it would have to be Wherever i may roam by Metallica.
