do u find it hard when u put all four fingers down on the strings, and try to only lift the third finger it is hard? it is really hard for me. any suggestions?

I`ve never had that particular problem, but my fourth finger used to give me trouble. Just keep practicing, and ask your teacher about it.

Well at first fourth finger gives you a lot of trouble but as soon as you get the hang of it, try different patterns like lifting your fingers. All I could suggest is that you keep your fourth finger down really hard and just practice.
