I studied cello years ago at school briefly but have had the urge to do it again. I only want to learn the basics and self teach afterwards. Also need to learn how to tune cello. Is anyone free to teach a wiliing pupil who can pay no more than £10 a lesson.

you should try checking at a local college or something. sometimes they have student teachers that wont charge you too much.

I often believe that you get what you pay for! Pay cheap - get chaep quality! It`s not true in all cases of course..........

If you are homeschooled, you can learn any stringed instrument with the Home School Strings Orchestra. for cello, you would pay $69/month and it`s great! i`ve only played cello for a year and i`m almost in elite strings!
the teacher`s names are Jeff and Mary Ann Watson. if you want their number, let me know!
