I have recently started playing the cello. I`ve listened to the bach cello suites but want to listen to some more solo cello music. I don`t know what to look for in the music shops, can anyone help?

I like the Vivaldi cello solo CD`s.

Try Paul Hindemith. It might be alittle too advanced for ya now, but in about 8 months ya just might be there. I luv 'em, even tho my teacher (who si into contemporary music) kinda pushed me into it against my will. It's not weird contemporary tho, it's alot like classic, but with alittle twist which is always fun (classical music can get boring after awhile...)and now his cello suites are my favorite pieces to play!
