I play a whole bunch of instruments but all of which are in the treble clef. Although I play the piano my base clef is not always the best. Next month I am about to begin the cello(my first string instrument) but like all of my previous instruments I would like to teach myself the basics before going to a teacher.
Anyways to get to the point, for all the others I found beginners books really easily but it seems for cello it isn`t that easy. Can anyone here reccommend a good book that has the basics for finger positions and bowing? Aswell as a few simple tune books that I could learn quickly and easily?
Thanks
Leprachaun.

First time playing cello?? Try Essential Elements. It was great for me. If you're still having trouble, I'd go to a private teacher. Good luck with cello, it's great fun =D
