i printed off all the Bach Cello Suites from this webb site ...
http://abel.hive.no/trumpet/bach/cellosuite/ You go to this website, then just choose which suite you need.

On that website did anybody notice the mistakes on SUITE II(Prelude) On measures 59 through 62. It just wouldn't sound right, I mean play 3 dotted half notes(A,E and C) and play those same 3 notes as 16 notes at the same time? ITS NOT POSSIBLE! Those dotted half notes should have been 16notes.

Hi, just thought to share...
It is a printing error, strictly speaking. Or, it's not, if you are familiar with a general practice of those last measures in Prelude no. 2. Most editions will only show the dotted half-note chords, while the performers can 'improvise' in arppegio fashion based on these chords. The 16th notes shown in this edition is just one suggetion of doing it.
If you have a chance to listen to some CDs played by baroque cellists, they definitely won't just play the plain chords and miss the big opportunity to 'show off' their fancy improvisation skills.
I hope this clarify that mistake.
