I am playing the cello, and I need to travel with it a lot and I don't have a car. I'd like to buy a case or a bag that will be strong enough to protect it, and in the other hand mobile. Can you please recommend me about one?

You've probably found something by now, but in case you haven't, I'm really happy with my Travelite case that I ordered online from http://chrisbsmusicinc.stores.yahoo.net/travcelcas.html
It's a good compromise between a real hard-shell case and a soft bag. Lighter and cheaper than most cases, much more protection and also easier to get your instrument in and out of than a bag.
