Welcome to Australia! What city are you living in?
Also, have you learnt a specific method such as Suzuki, and what level are you playing?
Are you playing classical music?

<Added>

Sorry, I didn't read your post properly. I know of a few good teachers in Melbourne if that's where you are living.

My teacher is Dr. Sharon Lierse. Her details are on her website www.sharonsmusicstudio.com I find her an excellent teacher.
There is also Alfred Hornung (I don't have his details, but he teaches at Melbourne conservatorium of music. There should be contact details on the website.
Another excellent cellist is Tim Blake. He is a performer, so I don't know if he takes many students. I'm also not sure whether he would teach close to the city. His family run The Violin Studio in Camberwell. I was taught by his niece for a few years, but never had the chance to study with Tim. The phone number for the studio is 03 9889 7609. Tell them your wanting cello lessons from Tim if possible, and hopefully they will be able to put you in contact with him. I don't advise you take lessons from Brian at the studio. Although he is an excellent professional violinist, he taught himself cello only recently.

The other option is to directly contact teachers at Melbourne conservatorium (I spelt that wrong) and see if they will give private lessons.

There are many other excellent teachers in Melbourne, maybe someone else has some suggestions?

Hope this helps!
