Okay so I am a cellist. But I am also a saxophonists. And when AllState rolled around I sort of fell off of the cello wagon. Now, I am looking to purchase a new cello. Does anyone have any suggestions on brands and models that would be ideal for an intermediate cellist who has been playing for a long while. I'm trying to find a cello that has an amazing tone and projects well. Please also provide what knowlege you have on the brand too.
And no one say carbon fiber cellos, I'm in love with them but its far out of the budget.

Check out lindawest.com I just bought a real nice one from her. She is a cellist and a luthier. She really knows how to set them up and will work with you and give you the best in your price range. You can listen to the quality cellos on her web site too.
