Hi!
I`d like to play in tenor clef but I don`t know how. I don`t know where I should put my fingers, which finger on which string. I have to say that I`m not good at notes reading. When I see a note, I know how to play it on the cello but I don`t know its name. But when it comes to the tenor clef I have no idea where the notes are. Maybe this question is hard to answer in words but I hope someone will be able to help me.

The trick to reading treble clef is knowing where the notes are. Luckily, the clef itself helps you with this. The little arrow thingy that points to the right is resting right on C on the A string. This should be the second from the top line. So the top line is E in 4th position on the A string. Hope this helps!

I`m a little late, but I`d like to drop some input in........ Tenor clef is just a perfect fifth higher than bass clef. I find it easiest to think of it that way, because on the cello, you just move up one string, and use the same fingerings. I don`t know, I just find it easiest that way..... Hope this helps.
