Hey, I was just wondering if your hands need to be particularly big to be able to play the cello.

I`ve been playing the piano for quite a while, and am interested in taking up the cello. But does my hand need to be able to reach far (or something like that...)

Hi. you don`t need to have big hands, though they can be an advantage. as you play your hands would get bigger. if your hands can`t grow, say your an adult then get a small sized cello! like a 7/8! also get a good one. Its worth the money.
