Currently I`m playing a song called Concerto Italiano. There are lots of 16th notes and I just can`t move my wrist fast enough. Have any tips?

Play it slowly. There`s a saying `slow makes fast`, and it`s true.
I`d recommend playing it at around half the speed you know you can play it at, then every time you play it almost perfectly, kick it up 5-10 bps(metronome speed: beats per second).
Hope that helps!(it helps pretty much everybody if you work at it!)

Yes exactly!!! Thats exactly what I did when I played Flight of the bumblee. I played the whole entire song several times slower than I was suppose to, and then I played it again a little faster until I was able to play it at 144 beats per minute. I also did that with one line at a time, after I could play the first line (first several measures at a time) fast, I went to the second line.

Another thing you can try is work backwards, measure by measure. Pretty much do what was said about slowing it down and speeding it up, only you start with the last measure of the song, then you play the second to the last measure to the end, ect. adding a measure each time you get it right. After a while, you`ll have played more and more of the song so many times, the beginning will be the hardest part, which usually would be the easiest. =) Hope thats helpful!

Ha! Never thought of working it backwards like that.
By the way, who here are forum regulars?

Thanks you guys. I`ll try that and tell you how it works out. It`s nice being able to get some help from people who actually play the cello. Yep. Oh yeah, I`ve heard The Flight of the Bumblebee on the cello before and it sounded REALLY cool. The version I heard was done by Julian Lloyd Webber (Andrew Lloyd Webber`s brother plays the cello).
Thanks,
Maggie
