I just wanted your opinions before I actually start looking through the classified section. I am going to be getting an upright within the next 1-2 months, and I want to be sure that I understand what makes a good bass, and what brands I should avoid, or should seek after.
First off, I should tell you my preference in music since I will be going for the sound that best fit my style. My main use for this will be recording, and not as much playing out live. But, I am looking for a really nasty sound, much like the bass sound from MMW's "
Last Chance to Dance Trance (perhaps)"-Check it. I really just want a dirty nasty sound, something that I can pluck hard and play fast.
If you have any suggestions I would much appreciate it.
