is this a good range about 5 octaves on the Bb and everything in between. I am trying to extend that but not sure how any tips. I would love to have higher range than our baritone player.

its good to see some fellow tuba players on here! sadly however, we seem to get shunted around the various bass and trombone forums on the net, i am yet to find one for just tuba! my range (assuming with nice tone etc.) is about from gflat 4 below up to high eflat. i play in senior band at my high school... its fun in band but i hate AMEB exams, i get made to do them every year. i just didi 4th grade and i completly stuffed my technicals!
