I`m lookin for a wahpedal ,and don`t know what`s the difference among so many brands~ I wanna a smooth and vintage sound ~~ well ~ maybe that`s too general....

Anyway~ does anyone has anything to say ....

Hi, this forum isn`t where I hang out, but somebody told me that your good question was going unanswered.

There is only one basic, World standard & vintage wah pedal, and that is the Dunlop Cry Baby. I have one, it`s great. I also have the Jimi Hendrix version for a little brighter sound, but I don`t think it`s necessary - maybe just a slick marketing strategy. They`re both excellent. I`ve been playing since the days of Hendrix by the way. I believe that Cry Baby wahs will last forever; they`re more than legendary.

To be fair, I think # 2 would be the Morley wah. It`s good, solid as a tank, but perhaps expensive, and not as neat looking.

Now if you want Fuzz too, I`ll recommend in advance the Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face. Hendrix`s choice again!

Cry Baby

did anyone say cry baby yet?

I as well am looking into a wah pedal, but does anybody have anything to say on the styles that the different pedals work best for? Or is it all the same? My personal use for a wha would be 1970`s funk (like the whaka-whooka in the `70s action themes), instead of specifically Hendrix rock.

Anything... anybody?

cry baby wah is good thats what slush use in sweet child but where can i buy that and how much?
