Hey ive been focusing on acoustic guitar for bout 5years now and i really enjoy it. However, its been annoying my band that im playing electric like an acoustic. Ive just got a new schecter electric and i was wondering if any of you guys have any tips on getting my electric skills into shape. Im not looking for any jazz or classic rock style stuff as my band plays more alternative, rock... dare i say it emo style music. My acoustic playing has made my rhythm and picking sound very messy on a electric... any help?
