hey,
i have a yamaha erg 121, but everywhere i look i can never find this model in the online catalogs for yamaha. the reason for this topic is i was wondrin wut kinda fix ups i should do like bridge, pickups, tuning knobs...

I used to work for a Yamaha dealer. The series of guitars you`re talking about was made for department stores like WalMart & Costco.
As far as fixing it up, you might want to consider buying another guitar that already has the features you`re looking for. If I remember correctly, those guitars are plywood and the amount of money you would spend on pickups and/or hardware would probably exceed the value of the guitar.

i paid 150 for the guitar at a pawnshop of which i know the owner. the quality is very good and it has a humbucking neck and bridge pickups and a middle pickup. is this over priced? I am willing to pay for the parts because i really like the strat design in solid black.
