This might sound really stupid, but i'm 12 years old, and I have no idea what kind of guitar I should get. I don't know what kind (acoustic or classic), and what size. I'm only about 4'9" and I have regular sized hands (for a 12 year old). I also don't know what brand to get. Please help. Thanks.

wOoT!!!!!!!I found a kid who doesn't want an electric guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What music do you like? If your into rock,pop,country, or folk get an acoustic/ if you like classical or fingerstyle get a classical. Fender sells a nice classical for $70.

Go to the music store and try a few out. Have the clerk tune and play the instruments. Tell the clerk you want to know what your possibilities are before you and your parents buy. Give yourself some time to compare.
