anyone in ne bands? im in a jazz band right now. weve got alot of talented people. an amazing pianist. this girl drives to UNT every week and takes lessons from the best piano players in the world. our bass player can jsut about play nething u put in front of him. our winds are awesome. great soloers.

I am self taught and i have been playing the guitar for about 3-4 years. I have necer had a lesson, besides my mother who also is self taught and never had a lesson in her life. I am not in a band at the moment as I am concentrating on my piano which i am also self taught on. I can also play the drums and I am self taught on those as well. On the piano I can play anything you through In front of me. And i am currently making a demo for my grandma, and afew of my friends. With the help of my bro on the guitar and my father on the drums. who are also self taught.
And I bet that u have and ur mates have had afew lessons am i right?

wow..pretty talented. i couldnt imagion playing all those free of teachers. yes ive had about 1 year of lessons out of my 5 or 6 years of playing. i would say i needed that year though because i needed some guidance before i started off on my own.

any suggestions on a song for my jazz band guys?

Yeah i am pretty talented....but i am no good at performances when it comes to playing the piano though,,,,the guitar i am okay with....my town had a little busking competition....so i decided to join in it to see what it was like.....I didnt win or anything but i did get some great comments on my playing though coz i was the only one who was self taught.

I am sorry but I dont really know any jazzy songs....Maybe you could try catfish blues by Jimmi Hendrix or something.
