So I've been looking at some guitars and from the ones I looked at today my favorite was this one (Pretty sure its it.. but what he wrote down had "AE" at the end of the model number..):

Thoughts? For price, I could get this one for $279 and actually I liked this one better compared to ones that were more expensive. In my ear it was even somewhat comparable to a $1500 (Martin) one, too. I am not a guitar player, but I am a musician (violin, flute, a bit piano and an itty bit guitar.. I know just a few chords. I can hear differences between guitars and can hear what I like)

For price, I am looking between $250-350, with an absolute max of about $400. I do however, want an instrument that will last (I plan to major in Music Therapy in college- I'm currently a junior in High School) and one that is of good enough quality that it produces a pretty good sound since I know I would not enjoy one that was too cheap sound wise. It must have a decent sound but not a real big price tag :P

I'm pretty sure I want the ability to plug it into an amp.. and I really love the built in tuner, but its not a requirement.. :P

Anything else I should know? About cases/strings whatever.. Thanks a bunch!!

I always think the best guitar come up in junk shops and out of the way auctions. The one you're looking at it probably a great guitar but you never know what you may find in a small, dingy shop selling brickabrack.

Still, buy it, i'm sure it's worth the money.
