hey guys i'm 12 years old and have ALWAYS wanted to play guitar. unfortunately, the only help i get is "practice" which i have 2 problems with: 1)the only way to practice without being bugged to do some stupid chores or smash my guitar on something is to hide away in the basement or go to my friend's house. 2)no one gives me any clue as to WHAT to practice. also i have a severe case of A.D.H.D. and can't focus very long on anything. and thanks to heredity i have short fingers which i dont really know if its a problem but i suspect so. every few months or so i bug my mom 24/7 for lessons and she always says she'll start looking, cut out some flyers, than say we can't afford it(but we CAN afford to get my brother $60 video games for no reason) and my parent's latest thing is they want to take lessons WITH me which would be hard considering i have one piece of sh*t acoustic and one beat up old electric which i prefer no one touches(because they don't know what they're doing). no books for beginners or anything. if my mom didnt take all my money(for video games wouldn't ya know)and i lived near a place that sold them, i would buy a book myself. HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP!
look man 1st, i dont have adhd, but i have like nerve problems i think and i always tense n stuff you know.. so its hard for me to focus on things to sometimes and ill get frustrated.. but just try.. and i have short fingers to lol, but i can still play.. anyways right now just start learning some chords man using this site, get used to playing those first.. message me
