uh... i guess i`ll start.... ill nino... system of a down... killswitch engage... Mudvayne... hatebreed... zombie guts... static x (very deep)... korn (also very deep)... this section is for mostly 4 person bands (2 guitars... 1 bass... and a drummer) that is in drop tuning...

hi there...
i`ve studied music for 10 years but i just recently started on guitar. i`m portuguese, and we don`t used "D, C, E..." instead we use "do, re mi fá" (but i do know the matching) anyway...
my question is...
how can bands like Slipknot use "B,F#,B,E,G#,C#" ??? they only use it on some songs... do they swap guitars?? a gutar for each drop??
and normal strings can hold the pressure of those drops??
