Slipknot are usually in Drop B or B#....except in the track `The Heretic Anthem` in which they play in Drop A.

System Of A Down play in Drop C except in their new albums which are in Drop C#, so a semitone higher than previous albums.

Slayer uses Drop C, Standard dropped half a step, and i think some drop D. Metallica used Drop D on "The thing that should not be" from master of puppets.

ok you guys...gimme a break...

System of a Down used drop C until Mesmerize, now they use mostly C# with a bit of C here and there, and live they use C#.
Norma Jean, Slayer, and Funeral for a Friend use that too.

Slipknot, what I`ve heard of them anyway, is drop B. So is Throwdown, most Unearth, Despised Icon, and that`s all for that of the top of my head. I`m sure there are more.

Thrice, Godsmack, As I Lay Dying, Converge, and many others use C.

Nobody mentioned Queens of the Stone Age, who use standard and standard-C tuning alternatively. Most of Songs for the Deaf is in C.

Also, Gwar uses standard Eb. Just thought you should know.
