I didnt check the site but maybe want a humbucker sound. my buddy says you can get it from single coils without humbuckers.. I saw part of it on Harmomy central, as deaf-eddie in pickups. Jim

Ben your Tele sounds cool for sure. If you really enjoy the Telecaster a good website for you is also www.vintique.com, where you will find Jay Monterose, formerly with Danny Gatton, and a whole bunch of Hellecasters - the band! They`re awesome, but so is yours with a Deaf-Eddie 5 way Tele wiring trick! Finally, I recommend you look at Hot Rails for the bridge too. I have a friend who really likes those pickups from Seymour Duncan, and it sounds great. Strat man Dwight

I`m building a strat with a maple neck I planed down myself because it was damaged and a warmmouth hollow strat in candy blue. After I took the neck down to specs I glued on an ebony compound radius fingerboard on the old USA made fender maple neck and sanded it to shape which came from stew mac. I installed white vintage pickguard and 57/62 pups. Ive ordered the chromacaster roto and cant wait because of what you guys and deaf eddie have said Im sure I`M gonna be getting sounds as fat as my vintage 63 SG Standard gibson,,,,,,but with stratocaster tone!!!!
NOW THAT ROCKS>>>>> Thanks for all the info guys,Gordon

When I mofified my Lonestar Strat with the Fat-O-Caster for Fatties from www.deaf-eddie.net I requested a special feature called the X2. It gave 2 extra custom sound options, explained on site. A friend of mine did his Strat the same way afterward, but now he wants to build the Memphis Fats Strat even though I see no comments here about it? My friend`s Fender Deluxe Stratocaster with custom paint, custom pickups & pearloid accessories, and Floyd Rose complete with the Deaf Eddie 11 sound mod will soon be listed on ebay. At this time of year it could be a great bargain. Cheers!

I didn`t see anything on ebay, what`s it going for? The deaf-eddie is a cool site. It will take a few days to read what I`m interested. Can somebody give an ebay number if that strat goes on. Thanks.
