Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me about recording. Whenever I`ve recorded stuff through my effects peddle, the distortion is always crackly, so, i turn down the treble, but it still sounds wierd. I`ve tried through my amp, and that sounded better, but not quite what i was looking for. Should I try having the EQ levels on my peddle all 9, and then fix around the EQ on my amp? Does anyone know what levels are good? I`m looking for a newer Blink 182 sound, like off thier new album.

I`m recording on my PC. I don`t expect it to have the best quality clear sound (and it doesn`t), but I at least want the sound out of my amp. I have a `DigiTech something 50` (i can`t remember the name of it, i don`t have it at my house right now)effects peddle, and I have a US 122 Tascam recording studio thing where i plug it all in.

ok, if u can just play ur amp with no prob., but are getting over-mod. goin into ur computer thru the TAScam (and u`ve checked ur input volumes.) then id say u should try taking the processor out of the loop. plug a 1/4 jac into the headset output of ur amp (or out of an output if it has one)and directly into the mic input on bac of ur computer. see if that clears it up. (i run everything thru 8 track recorder into computer back and never had a prob.)
